However, it may not work for some people due to certain body�s chemistry and other overpowering smells such as perfumes. Strong fragrance smells can over power the active Geraniol smell and therefore mosquitoes could bite.

How long does the protection last?

The Anuva Snap & Release band can last up to 30 days . Results could vary depending on usage.

Is the Anuva Snap & Release band safe?

The Anuva Snap & Release band does not contain DEET or any other pesticides.This active ingredient Geraniol is considered to be GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) by the EPA included in exempt product listings. Products comprised of these active ingredients and inert ingredients taken from the EPA Exempt List (FIFRA) are considered safe for public use. This is particularly important when considering how to protect children from mosquitoes.

The Anuva Snap & Release band is designed and formulated with children in mind.Although there are no toxic chemicals being emitted , we suggest not to put in the mouth and keep away from the eyes.

According to the World Health Organization mosquitoes infect over 300 million people a year with Malaria and Dengue, just two of the life threatening diseases mosquitoes can carry.

In 2010 there were an estimated 660,000 malaria deaths.
